About the Teachers
Tamara Micner
Tamara Micner (she/her) is an advanced student of Yiddish and a writer & performer for theatre based in London. She recently completed advanced Yiddish studies at the Paris Yiddish Centre/Medem Bibliotek, and has previously studied with Ot Azoy (UK), International Yiddish Seminar (Poland), Yiddish on the Continent (Belgium), KlezKanada (Canada) and Der Arbeter Ring (USA).
She is also helping organise this year's Yiddish Sof-Vokh outside Sheffield. She descends from native Yiddish speakers and is thrilled to teach Yiddish with Babel's Blessing.

Osian Evans-Sharma
Osian Evans Sharma is a freelance tutor of Yiddish, cinema enthusiast and occasional creator of marionettes. He studied Yiddish at University College London and on courses in Tel Aviv and Berlin. He teaches at the annual immersive course Ot Azoy in London, and tutors with Leo Baeck College's Lehrhaus, and with tutees around the world.
He is helping with the organisation of the Yiddish Sof-Vokh for a second year.
