Arabic is a surprisingly easy, logical language to learn, it has a three root/letter basis that promotes easy understanding.
The language is a transparent one, where most letters are pronounced it’s also delicious when you discover the different accents around the Arab world.
Approximately 380 million people speak Arabic in 25 countries. Did you know that Falafel and humus originate from the Levantine region as the most popular street food there? Palestinians consider them a national dish to be eaten at any time of day, every day, the same goes for Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. The word falafel comes from Palestine and the dish has become a worldwide healthy favourite. Social eating and the generous sharing of food is a lovely tradition of the Arab culture.
Explore traditional Arabic customs, Art, music, food, philosophy through this rich culture and language.
Course overview
Develop practical communication skills with Arabic Absolute Beginners course. Arabic is one of today’s most relevant languages – and not as difficult to learn as you may think.
The course covers the alphabet to grammatical structures, greetings to describing objects. We’ll introduce the Arabic script, letter by letter, to learn its unique sounds and develop listening and speaking skills. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you’ll learn how to make polite requests and express likes and dislikes. We’ll also spend time exploring Arabic media and culture.
This course is for Absolute Beginners. If you have studied Arabic before you can sign up for our Beginners course. If you are not sure of your level, book our free online taster session below, or email babelsblessing@gmail.com.

Accessibility: the classroom is located up two flights of stairs so this class is, regrettably, not accessible to wheelchair users.
