¿Soy bueno o estoy bueno?, ¿tengo 20 años o soy veinte años? ¿estás muerto o estás cansado? ¿Voy para México o voy por México? Some of these sentences are wrong and in this course we’re gonna find out why.
In this INTERMEDIATE course you’ll be able to practice in a full conversational group environment with topics that you already know, such as pasado, presente and a little bit of futuro, while you learn Latin American art, its costumes, some of its political internal juncture and social phenomena.
Some say, español is the tongue of wishes, and while “hubiera” expresses something that can’t be undone, we also have “ojalá” one little word, with a lot of hope in it: “Ojalá pueda usar el verbo ser y estar en mi clase de español”. Well… you can!
But don’t believe me! listen the sound of regret itself in “Esa noche” famous song of popular band Cafe Tacuba; or if you’re more of a dreamer, listen to “Ojalá”, from Cuban singer Silvio Rodríguez
So, Is the glass half empty or half full?
